“I Caffè di Sicilia – Palazzo Reale” it is dedicated to the Norman Palace, a jewel of Arab-Norman architecture, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and seat of the Sicilian Regional Assembly, the oldest Parliament in Europe.

ROYAL PALACE OF PALERMO

The Royal Palace is the symbol of the wealth, political power and culture of the Norman kingdom.

It became the center of European culture and art between the 12th and 13th centuries, mainly thanks to the influence of Frederick II. In fact, in these sumptuous and refined environments, the most important European culture of the time developed: here Frederick II gathered the greatest scientists and poets, musicians and painters of the time.

Inside the Royal Palace, kept as a treasure, is the Palatine Chapel, which represents the mixture between different cultures and religions on an architectural and decorative level, as Byzantine, Islamic and Latin workers were involved in its construction.

I CAFFE’ DI SICILIA

The “I Caffè di Sicilia” collection is Morettino’s homage to his land.

Each coffee is dedicated to one of the island’s treasures. A sort of Grand Tour to discover unique territories, between different flavors and stories.

Thanks to them, it is possible to make an imaginary walk through the streets of the most authentic Sicily accompanied by the scent of the blends created to recall the characteristics of the place to which they are dedicated.

FLAVORS OF THE TERRITORY

Inside each package is a special blend of freshly ground coffee, roasted by Morettino master roasters and made to recreate the traditional aromas and flavors of the city of Palermo. Refined coffee with elegant notes of orange blossom and bitter orange marmalade.
