Wait for the sun to rise in the evocative location of the Spasimo di Palermo, sipping a good coffee with the sweet music of a piano.
This is the unique emotion that will be experienced during the dawn of Sunday 26 September at the Spasimo in Palermo during Piano City, the festival that since 2017 has been making the notes and melodies of the piano echo in the streets, squares and neighborhoods of the Sicilian city of which Morettino has been a partner since the beginning.
THE MORETTINO COFFEE BIKE
The protagonist of the 2021 edition will be the Morettino Coffee Bike, the eco-sustainable bicycle-café that offers a new way of drinking coffee outdoors, enjoying the beauty of our cities and respecting nature.
Starting from 6.30 in the morning, the iconic scent of Morettino Sicilian artisan coffee will spread in the air and will accompany the awakening of the many fans who will follow Diego Spitaleri’s concert in the gardens of the ramparts of Santa Maria dello Spasimo.
Surrounded by the unique colors of dawn and the notes of the eclectic Sicilian composer and pianist, you will be able to taste the Morettino Coffee Lab # 84 organic blend prepared in Espresso and the single origin of Arabica offshore Guatemala Finca El Puente in Filter.
PIANO CITY PALERMO 2021
From 24 to 26 September Piano City Palermo will take us to the discovery of over 10 symbolic places of the Sicilian capital, each one designed ad hoc for the exclusive project we are experiencing.
In this mosaic made of history and music there will be young talents, national and international guests ready to excite the public with their original compositions, first absolute performances and tributes to great musicians.
All concerts will have free admission upon booking and it will be possible to register on www.pianocitypalermo.it.
Piano City Palermo is a musical initiative held in the city since 2017, born from the homonymous Milanese festival to create a cultural bridge between the two cities.
The 2019 edition counted a record attendance (over 40,000 spectators) involving more than 50 artists.
Piano City Palermo is a participatory project, with strong citizen involvement, in which citizens, individuals and cultural partners work together for an increasingly liveable and open city.
