Americano is a special coffee blend created by Morettino to prepare coffee with the classic American coffee machine, the so-called “Moccamaster”, which is also available on morettino.com in the “Americano coffee machines” section.

Morettino has created two different blends for American coffee, both created using 100% pure Arabica origins: Americano and Americano organic, available in both beans and ground versions and wrapped in a freshness-saving pack.

The Americano is an exclusive blend of pure Arabica from Brazil, Honduras and Perù. Tasting it you will find refined notes of cinnamon and toasted almonds perfectly combined with sweet hints of white flowers and caramel, enhanced by a soft toasting. Its taste is velvety and persistent.

The Organic Americano is a blend of fine Arabica coffees from organic farming in Latin America. Delicate citrus notes and brown sugar blend with strong spicy and chocolate scents, enhanced by a soft and slow ecological roasting. Its taste is enveloping and persistent.

From plantation to the cup, Morettino's attention to quality is kept in every step of the process.

Morettino's coffees are the result of a thorough selection that is made directly on the plantation, in the main coffee producing countries located along the Tropics, between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn: Morettino chooses only the best seasonal harvests.

The greatest attention to raw materials continues when the green coffee is ready to be roasted, following a slow, artisanal and eco-friendly process, thus guaranteeing its healthiness and its best quality.

Morettino coffees are roasted in a slow and natural way, using the Morettino method with clean hot air: an innovative, ecological and healthy method that enhances the organoleptic properties of the coffee. In fact, raw coffee is roasted through constant flow of hot air which, gently and slowly, enters the beans until it reaches their heart. The Morettino method with clean hot air is an ecological process that does not produce combustion fumes and is one of the foundations of the Morettino Green 2030 program. The clean hot air process allows the coffee to be roasted evenly and to enhance its sensory characteristics, amplifying the organoleptic properties of each individual bean.

Once roasted, the coffee beans are refined thanks to the natural seasoning process, which, as it happens in the world of wine with bottle or barrique refinement, allows the coffee to enhance all of its best organoleptic characteristics.
